Didn't we have a load of games cancelled before?

    Seem to remember sometime around 1992-93 we had a load of games called off due to the weather and we ended up playing 4 games in 8 days.

    It was 1990/91 season I think. We played Saturday,Tuesday,Thursday and Saturday and got 1 point I think, effectively buggering up our play-off hopes that season.

    Given, that we've had a lot of 'training ground injuries'

    perhaps it's better that we play regular games & cut down on the training. (dunno)

    We didn't have underpitch heating then; neither did we have the pathetic H&S excuses nor the litigation culture.

    Wasnt it down to the drainage system failing??

    I remember drawing 1-1 with Leeds in the FA cup and the pitch was like a ploughed field. Was that around that time??

    yeah that all sounds about right, especially the drainage problem.

    later on that season the pitch was covered in sand cos it was knackered. If memory serves.
