Davey Says:
He Won't Be Registered In Time v Scunny
Needs 7 Day Registered For FA Cup (Something Like That) And Blackpool Is 5 Days After He Officialy Joins
Its On Davey's Interview On Barnsley World

WTF? Got to be Ballacks..... How come you can buy a player at midnight on deadline day and he's eligable to play the next day, Leon is a free agent and it takes 12 days? Im sure that when McIndoe left for wolves in the January Window, he played against us on New Years Day? As for all the comments regarding the Stoke game, yes the ref was poor, yes Stoke were a physical side, but when are we going to learn that needless/reckless challenges within 30 yards of the goal are going to cause us problems and do we even practice defending set pieces in training? I very much doubt it!! As for the big clear out, Anderson will be missed, lets hope Leon can carry on where ADS left. Nyatanga is not so much of an issue for me with the return of Hassell, move Foster to Centre Half and put Bobby back in at Right Back. Macken is ALL we have up front. Although I don't know what Christensen has got to do to get a game. Can't also believe that we spent 400k on Mostto, its Christmas ad he is yet to play a full 90 minutes! I've SD has decided he's shat then bin him and get him off the payroll. Ferenczi is getting found out a lot more this season, he leads with the arms and elboews every challenge he makes. non-existant in the Stoke game. If we can get Macken for 500k I would snatch derby's hand off. Or David Connelly from Sunderland for a similar fee.
Apparently, he may be able to play against Blackpool According to the official site :- http://www.barnsleyfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10309~1199128,00.html
Well Maybe Someone At The Club......... can explain why they said he will be making his debut on new years day. They are always coming out with "we don't like to mention anything until it's certain" and then do this. VERY disapointed he won't be playing at Glanford Park.
I Don't See Why He Can't Play Against Scnuthorpe He got released from his other team and signed for us on a free transfer. He signed weeks ago and so international clearance could have been done surely in that time.
RE: I Don't See Why He Can't Play Against Scnuthorpe Because the official date of the transfer is Jan 1st?
But HAS he officially signed for us already ? I was under the impression that he becomes a Barnsley player on January 1st, but I may be wrong. If international clearance can only be applied for once a player has been officially signed, then that could be an explanation for the delay. Just guesswork on my part.
Why is that though? If he is an EU National (which he is) and he is out of work, then surely he should be free to play as soon as his clearance comes through? Unless of course the Swiss FA have a Christmas break......
