Hopefully last night will show that he is not good enough to get in the side. Play with two fast wingers and two central midfielders who can break play up. Diego cant do either. Hopefully we'll do the same again on Saturday.

Problem you have is that you can't play a midfield of JCR, Leon and Devaney. One of them needs to be on the bench. Whilst Leon may posses quality (which he showed at times last season) you do get more from JCR and Devaney in terms of tracking back and tackling.

I totally agree with Bolton red

If you want to play with width and stretch the pitch then you need to be compact and simple in the middle. Anderson and Colace can do that.

The only way Leon can be accomodated is in the middle of a 5 man midfield.

Sometimes we might have to play that. Having two attacking wide players is nice to watch, old-fashioned, Andy Ritchie-esque tactics. But if the midfielders don't play close to each other they can be sometimes cut open, especially when the opposing midfield are big uns. It just seems that the manager doesn't try different things, esp. with regard to our away form.
