I was gutted after the Ipswich defeat but could still accept it by how friendly their fans were...

    ...before and after the game.

I always like to have a bit of a chat and maybe some banter with the opposition fans but the Cardiff lot just aren't worth bothering with.

Correct. As I posted earlier, we spoke with Cardiff fans in the pub before the game and after. They were sound.

I dont belive for one second in any of this as all of the Millenium games that were played would of been played at Old Trafford/Villa Park.

I saw Barnsley fans looking for trouble yesterday all that happened was the chanting in response, I saw Barnsley females dishing out the (givinfinger) and ****** signs too along with children. I wont stoop as low as to call them inbreds as whats happened on this board I also saw it coming back from us. So What?

This season I have seen at our ground Bristol Fans beating up a copper, Southampton fans beating up a copper both in the away terrace, Ive seen Wolves fans ripping up seats and launching them into family section and trying to get over the wall to name a few examples. Does this make me think for one second all of the fans of those teams are pricks? No. Does it make me think all fans of England are pricks? No. Have I seen any of our awful behaviour on the news? No. Any reports of coaches being smashed? No

Just remember its the Uk and the world that get to see the disgusting behaviour of SOME FANS (well I say fans but we know they arn't) at tournaments across Europe when England qualify and that is far far damaging to both yourselves and the rest of Britian when we return to those places for holiday. 10 German bombers and all that?? Pinching flags and lighting them? Smashing up bars? Look a bit closer to home before pointing any fingers, England is notorious on a far bigger scale than "My Dad has always said Cardiff this, Cardiff that"

I saw no arrests but I am sure there were.

I saw a Barnsley lad leaving early next to us (segragation opp tunnel) giving the ****** sign with the arms out "Come on then etc etc" shame on him.

Good on you that remained to applaud your hero's off the pitch, shame on those that left before the whistle. You think your hurting? How do you think your players and staff feel ecspecially KO?

Good on the Barnsley fans saying "Not all Cardiff fans are thugs" because its damn obvious we arn't but I can promise you this. While you were sleeping Saturday night there would of been trouble in Barnsley nightclubs and surrounding areas it dosnt make you thugs as not everyone can behave themselves.

Lets all boycott Chinese fod establisments across the country as we have all seen recent pictures over whats going on and thus this makes them all thugs.

Its getting quite laughable this but I will continue to point out that we are in general decent people, just the same as fans from every club across the UK, we all have our boys and girls who let us down.

    DONT TALK RUBBISH MATE

WE SHOOK HANDS WITH HUNDREDS OF BARNSLEY FAN BEFORE AND AFTER GAME

  10. Only the minority, as always - of BOTH teams

The moronic chanting - anti-English, anti-Welsh, etc etc. The stoning of buses near Wembley coming in (reported by my brother on one of the coaches. The crass, spiteful, behaviour from the low lifes, the brain dead sitting behind me and so many others, so it seems. Let's face it, a significant number of people have no idea how to behave and they never will know how to, no matter what the occasion.
My experience of taking the short train journey in from Princes Risborough, and back again was absolutely fine. Loads of Cardiff fans along with a few in red. No trouble, lots of smiles and normal conversation about the match, about the day, about FOOTBALL.
What a shame that we abolished deportation. There must be a barren rock somewhere in the Pacific that these cretins that shame the whole of humanity could be sent to. Just a rock mind you, not a "proper" place to live!

RE: Only the minority, as always - of BOTH teams

Both of us "Loyals" know they wont be there or our next home matches as we both took approx 20K more than usual.

Our visiting fans are now allowed to park in our Car Park opposite our ground which is obvious we are sorting it out and we have both myself and 7 Yo girl are season ticket holders and no way would I have taken her a few years ago.

It is always the minority some bigger than ours but honestly trust me our minority is getting less and less.

That wasn't my experience and i can only speak from my experience

Your club was let down by a fair few of your fans.

They seemed to take more delight in us losing than Cardiff winning, which I found a little odd.

I'm not so naive to think that all your fans are all the same, but the experience on the whole was that a large proportion of your fans were behaving like absolute tits who were on their first trip of their lifetime from the valleys.

When compared to the good nature and grace of the Ipswich fans in 2000 it was a ll a bit embarrassing, in my opinion.
