A huge wage budget, experience and quality... All but one of Ipswich's starting eleven yesterday have previously played regularly in the english premier league (Aaron Creswell being the only omission)... I may be wrong but only Vaz Te and Ranger in our squad have made EPL experience, but these have been few and generally as substitutes.

Fact is we outfought ipswich in the first half, and we were outclassed in the second... Got to agree with Keith Hill, hard to criticise players when you consider quality of the opposition and our recent run of results. And IMO many of the form players e.g. Steele, O'Brien, Foster, Butterfield etc etc weren't on their game yesterday.

Paul Jewell's ht team talk had to be good as his job would have been on the line if they lost, he would have highlighted that we conceded 3goals in 10mins last week at Peterborough... with the quality players they have, if he could get them fired up, giving their all and they would be playing to save his job! Certainly worked!

No major complaints from me, apart from the two usual suspects who sit in front of me moaning about Jacob Butterfield from the off... every game. Even if JB scored a hatrick, and single handedly won the game they would knock him being greedy... the way they carry on you'd think the lad had started the war in afghanistan. Oh, and they are type who always leave with 10mins to go! Why do they bother, they never seem happy even after a terrific win. No pleasing some people...

Last word from me, a praise for the fans (apart from those mentioned above) were excellent and got behind the lads!

    Quality post.
And yep, three blokes in front of me, never seen em before, all got up and left a 2-3... probably never to return until the next 4 game winning run

The number of bookings were significant for me.

They clogged our midfield into submission.
