When you are 1-0 down and a defender is sent off then you need to go 3 at the back. Wasting all 3 subs by chucking strikers on, who did he think would get them the ball? At least chuck Devaney on who might put a cross in.
We were guilty of being a one half team last season. Kill the first half, try and nick the second. Either that or we'd take an unexpected lead in the first half and go backs to the wall with five in midfield until eventually capitulating with a late late equaliser. Davey is tactically questionable at best. I'm convinced by his movements in the transfer market though - good at getting them in. Just not sure that he knows with 'em though.
