Anyone else hear the Donny fan on 606 last night - disabled ST holder for years - price of his ST going up from £120 to over £300 next season.

Alan Green has asked someone from Donny to come on and justify that next week - bet they dont though

Price increase at donny for disabled fan:

    Cat A seat
    06: £225
    07: £305

    Cat B
    06: £250
    07: £175

    Cat C
    06: £150
    07: £148

The only ticket that cost £120 last season was a STANDING ticket for belle vue which was then transferred to a catagory C seat at the keepmoat (ie from being stood up in a shed to having the worse seats in the stadium at the new ground) and the only disabled supporters ticket that is over £300 next season is the BEST seat in the stadium.

So it appears that the price increas for this particular disabled supporter is because he has moved from the worst seats to the best seats. The price increase in general is because they are for a whole season at the keepmoat and not half of it at belle vue like last season.

    Ah Thanks for that

Seems our Irate pikey was being a bit economical with the truth then (and inaccurate as he definitely said £120 to £305)

    RE: Ah Thanks for that

He could have paid £120 last season, the prices of 225, 175 and 148 were for seating at belle vue/keepmoat last this season, if he stood up at belle vue it would have been 173, 148 or 120 so it's possible that his ticket has increased from £120 to £305 but it isn't just a price increase, in his case it would be an upgrase from the worst standing areas at belle vue/worst seat at keepmoat to the best seats in the house.

I wonder if their disabled supporters get a free carer too as well as paying the same as a child.
