"Ipswich interest seems to have waned" according to Ben in today's Chronicle. Looks like we're going to have to pay him for another year.

Strangely I think he is better suited to champ than league 1. He was never quick enough when hunted down by L1 packs. Just that couple of secs more on the ball works for him in a better league. Let's face it, he's one of our own, we still want him to succeed.

I think Digby has been handled terribly by a string of managers and his confidence has been shot to pieces since he broke onto the scene all those years ago, and the crowd haven't helped either.

Maybe a year with Hecky might just be the thing he needs. He's got talent, undoubtedly. The question is can we get him to express it on the pitch.

mebbi. wasn't hecky running the 21s while digby was in the setup though? i'm guessing he's already had plenty of time to see his qualities and may have also been involved in the decision to let him leave. obviously i hope you're right like..

Hecky doesn't sound that keen in today's Chron.

How many managers, clubs and positions does he need to fail at before he's allowed to move on though? Given how Williams was treated it is criminal if Digby is given yet another chance

William's contract was up though, Digby's isn't. Maybe he doesn't want to be released?

Not mobile enough for the modern game.

But it's ok to apologise for Williams as "one of our own" when criticising one who really is " one of our own"?

How do you think it's gone over the past year? On a scale of one to ten let's say.

I think I know who will make more of a contribution this season - if allowed to.

I know who's already made more of a contribution to us. I also reckon that didn't has spent longer out injured for us than Williams has
