Bit of a step down. Expected him to be in League 1.

It ill be his last chance this.. but I fear all the promise he showed, will be just empty promise..

Should have one those that we'd end up selling for a awful lot of money..

Yeah, I agree with that. Hope he takes the opportunity, probably less expectation on him. He's got time to make a decent career if he want to do it. Lack of ability not an issue, just hope he gives it all hes got.

I feared for his future after he had to go to the US for an operation.

He's been unlucky with injuries and was let down by managers at Oakwell.

I agree with your 1st comment on this topic I hope he does well. But he was not let down by managers Wilson gave him plenty of opportunities he played him numerous occasions 2 of these games middlesbrough in the cup and doncaster in the league when he put him in over scowen were shocking performances to say the least miles behind the pace of the game sluggish poor passing........ hope he can rebuild his career though.

How long is this CEO who we've got on his notice period. Getting daft now. Taking longer than the Lloyd Isgrove signing you broke last year.

No, not at all. I have asked you a few times what's going on with our CEO. You told us all, on a public forum, that we had one signed up, he was working his notice period, and we would announce it when ready. I'm just wondering when that would be. But each time I've politely asked you, you've just ignored it. And just wondered if this was another "in the know" post, when in fact, there was no CEO in place. If there is, great. If there isn't why try and suggest you know the inner workings of the club. It's just confusing.

That's the one Mario. It's a bloody bold statement to make. One I remember hoping was true at the time. But then nothing. And wouldn't respond when i asked him what the situation was.

I've heard absolutely nothing about the CEO. Who we have spoken to, or if we've had one fall through. Oakwell is fairly tight lipped around it. Usually with transfers a few people let the cat out of the bag.

Regardless of whether he was just bullcrapping and trying to act "in the know" I do hope we get it sorted. But trust Maurice and Patrick to be keen to get the right person in. Don't think after Linton we'll be rushing to appoint unless absolutely sure the person has the experience to run a championship club.

So we do have one signed up and just waiting to announce it? That's bloody good to hear! Provided they are a good appointment. Which I have every faith they are. Any idea how much longer we'll be waiting? Been a while.

Apologies if it came across like that. Just keen to know the craic. Seems to be dragging.
