Do Ipswich have any connections with the England youth team coaches?

I'm struggling to make sense of this one otherwise, although I suppose now we may find out if he really does have anything left to offer?

Another example of Johnson & training staff not being good enough to get the best out of a player. I don't know anything about the players attitude , that may have some part to play.

    Mick's always rated him.

You'd be amazed how highly rated Digby is amongst scouts / coaches.

Genuinely chuffed to the lad. Great move for him. Sad we never saw him get consistent games in his home town shirt.

Maybe they think his skills will be better honed in the championship than this kick and rush league.
The lower leagues have been known to be graveyards for certain skills, just a thought

All down to the numpties we keep selecting as managers.

Nobody has given him a half decent run.

Best of luck to him but when I've seen him he has been *****!

Thats unfair, hes been poor/average under several managers. Somethings not working for him with us. Hopefully fresh start will do him good and he'll fulfill his potential.

He's been total ***** under several managers when he's tried to step up... These conversations on this forum are completely bizarre I feel like youre all talking about a totally different player to the one ive seen make a few shaky appearances for us.. But aye.... because he's gone hes the best young player in England and it's Johnson's fault- we've had Barnsley's answer to Scholes sat on our bench last 5 years

    Yep

Hardly does the lads confidence any good dropping him after 1 poor game. Give him a 5 to 10 game run, see if he steps up to the plate and learns, if not get rid.

Some of the dross in our side have bad games week in, week out but are continually selected .

This has not only been a mistake from this Manager but previous ones as well.

Look at the lads who have never had a proper chance and moved on ie: Danny Rose, Lazurus etc not saying they would have made the grade but it would have been nice if they had been given the opportunity.

What would you say his confidence would have been like once the numpties and boo boys had a go if he'd had two or three games on the spin like his last one and he'd have kept playing him.

Of course it wouldn't have been like you to post that Johnnos lost it by keep playing him would it
Sometimes your criticisms and observations are as bad as what you think our managers actions are.

The difference is I am right and you are wrong :)

    Only kidding!

Its all about opinions but the one thing I will do is wish Digby the best of luck.

A proper manager may just extract the talent, if its there, out of of him.

Macca is a proper manager. Johnson is a numpty who will lead us nowhere.
