The other academy lads, Rose and Clark have been mentioned in threads today. What has happened to Digby? Is he injured? Looked a good player in a pretty piss poor pre season IMO. Do we think he will get a look in with Dawson and Perkins at the club, or become another forgotten man like RNL?

    Once he's fully fit

I believe he'll be pushing for a place in the starting line up. He'll get his chance when aspects like loss of form, injuries & suspensions start to affect us. The difference in performances between our league games this season and the friendlies show just why it's idiotic to read too much into pre season matches.

If Digby is better than Stones then I have to say I find that very exciting, I think Stones is our best player

If you listen to the coaching staff then they seem to hint at that. Digbys only 17 until February which is a massive thing.

I'd heard of Digby long before I'd heard of Stones. Also heard that Digby was destined for big things, so let's hope he is as good as Stones!

I saw Digby 'properly' against Brum last season and for a young lad he was excellent!. If that one game is anything to go on he will be a massive asset for the club. Also agree about Stones. He has a good brain and his long legs really do stretch when he needs to put a tackle in. He will be another great player with a bit of luck
