Good lad I'd love to see him get another chance in the first team, even taking into account his disappointing performance against Leeds a couple of weeks ago. For me, this lad epitomises the future of our club and it's difficult to see what Fox brings to the proceedings that Digby can't also provide.
I had high hopes that he would be a regular this season. He certainly has the physical attributes and from what I've seen of him, looks like he can play a bit as well. I don't watch training or the development games so perhaps he's been disappointing(?) which is why he's not featured. Or maybe his injury problems are such that he's not ready for regular first team action. I can understand youngsters not getting a run if there are established senior pros ahead in the queue (the forwards on our books for example) but where there are weak areas (centre midfield in my opinion) I don't see why we shouldn't give him a chance.
Re: Good lad Agree completely The thing that irks me most at present is the blocking off and abandonment of talented kids that could become mainstays of the first team.
