Diggers - The answer to our centre half problem??

    I know its probably too early to say and after the match last night probably showed too much flair and touch for a Centre Half but I reckon he would be just as accomplished at Centre Half as he would in Centre Midfield. Hes a big so and so, and therefore satisfy the clamour for a big no nonsense defender but with a touch of class. Only a suggestion but I did recently speak to a colleague at work who is heavily involved in the youth system at Oakwell and he seems to think the skys the limit for 'Diggers' whether it be midfield or defence.

    can see where you're going, but on showing, would be a bit of a waste of his latent footballing ability for me. all very premature, but his glimpses last night excited one or two. for me, he needs to keep working hard and grasp his opportunities when he gets them. for me at the moment, the only natural replacement would be for kelvin. and he has some way to go, to take that that crown

    Centre half could be an option because centre midfield is stacked and I can't see someone like Perkins/Dawson being a regular bench warmer so Digby can start.
