Does anyone think we was slightly fortunate with the goal yesterday? Couple seconds before ball got blasted at one of Birmingham’s players & knocked him out . I think some refs would’ve blew up with it been a head injury.
No. Neither did I think he was knocked out. Had that actually happened, there's no way the lad would've been allowed to play on after a couple of minute's treatment.
It wasn't, it was their player and he certainly looked to lose consciousness in the slow motion replays.
Only just noticed that on this replay. So correct what I said earlier - yes play should have been stopped - looked bad
In that case then, we've been slightly fortunate, but it's still a lovely strike from the Big man and the results page says Barnsley 1 Brum 0
I saw that too Jay. The Concussion Protocols in football, if there are any ,are not fit for purpose. He should have gone off for a assessment. I did hear last year of temporary substitutes being used, nothing been said since. I watch a lot of Rugby and their protocols are working well. It's not left to players to make the decision, rightly it's made by the medical staff.
Collins took one in stomach at QPR said he could not breath, stayed up and carried on,the lads a warrior
