Supposing that during the Oldham game on Saturday, Jacob Burns gets a yellow card, something that could oh so easily happen. This would mean that the following week at Millmoor we would be without him as well as Kay and Austin. Carbon and McPhail would still be doubtful due to recurring injuries. What would the team look like should this hypothetical situation become reality?
I'm more concerned that we don't have a goalkeeper Both Flinders and Colgan have been called up for international duty. We may struggle to get 11 players!
RE: I'm more concerned that we don't have a goalkeeper won't they call the match off if colgan and flinders are on international duty?
I'm not sure. It usually requires 3 players on international duty from a club for a game to be postponed, but the rules may be different if a team loses 2 'keepers. We do have the mighty Scarsella.
RE: Nope. He's sat on the bench, but that's as far as it goes. kool, bet he feels wanted. so wots injury/suspension list look like?
It must be very rare... For a team below the Championship to have two international goalkeepers, may not have happened before.
Goalkeeper....... We do have John Lukic on board. I know he's only the coach but can't we get him signed for the Rotherham game just in case?
RE: Goalkeeper....... ok then if its 3 players called up for international duty can't we sign a player on loan who has been called up for the internationals -problem solved!
