Not only is the report totally biased, which is to be expected I suppose, but it goes on to bring themselves and the game into disrepute by accusing referee Uriah Rennie of partisanship and of egomania.

They did much the same last season as sour grapes for their defeat at the hands of Doncaster. The conduct of their players today was disgraceful. Their captain had gone on record as saying his lads wanted revenge for their player sustaining a broken leg in last season's fixture.

This attitude should be contrasted with the professional and civilised communications betweeen Doncaster Rovers and Manchester City following a leg-break incident in the Carling Cup Tie last Wednesday.

Correction. Pikeys live in crap accmmodation a la Belle Vue (now that title is a joke for a start). Rennie is a bias Barsteward, and Coppinger fares even worse. If the linesman had been alert, as fat Rennie was in the centre circle) Coppinger should have been the first to be shown red.
