Over what we did to top up the pocket money while at college/uni, how easy it was to get a job and if we were in the same boat now would we still go work part time and would it be as easy to get a job now as it was then.

mine was barwork in the evenings.
holidays were either labouring on site or box packing.
    Id still work part time.
id struggle to get work compared to my college years.

I didn't work at uni in term time but in the holiday I did every shift I could in a factory making radiators. Agency work so not great pay but time and a half in the week and double time at weekend. Hard graft but there were some great people. Most students would last a couple of shifts and sack it off but once they realised I would work hard they were brilliant with me.

Last summer of uni I did bar work for terrible pay, could be sent home if there weren't busy and had to do split shifts. It was ace though chatting up women all day.

With increased numbers of students there would naturally be a greater demand for these jobs.

    why else...

Personally I don't think it's ever been easier to find part time temporary work.

Full time permanent jobs are hard to come by but temporary part time work is ten a penny.
