DISGRACED Blackburn star El Hadji Diouf is at the centre of a new storm following a shameful dressing room punch-up with his own team-mate Ryan Nelsen.

Diouf swapped punches with his skipper after last Sunday's 3-0 defeat at Everton - just minutes after being accused of racially abusing a Goodison Park ballboy.

Nelsen had accused the Rovers striker of being "not interested" and "lazy" and the pair traded verbal insults before Diouf threw himself at the club skipper.

Kiwi Nelsen had come on as a 46th minute substitute for France international Gael Givet and was furious with Diouf's performance.

His criticism provoked an angry response from Diouf, who was already at boiling point following his alteraction with Everton supporters.

The pair traded verbal insults before Diouf threw himself at Nelsen and they began trading punches as stunned team-mates tried to separate the warring pair.

A Rovers source revealed: "Ryan was absolutely furious with Diouf and accused him of being selfish and not working for the team. Diouf reacted by throwing himself at him and was throwing punches like a windmill.

"Ryan acted to defend himself, but the rest of the players jumped in to separate them. It turned really nasty for moment."

The news of Diouf's latest bust-up comes as Everton are considering imposing their own BAN on the player.

The Merseyside club have demanded an apology from Diouf after he claimed supporters inside Goodison Park showered him with bananas.

The Blackburn striker has not responded to Everton's demand and is still the subject of a police inquiry into his behaviour during the game.

But Everton's fury over Diouf's claim is so strong that officials within the club believe they should take their own action against the Senegalese star.

Everton immediately swept the stadium for bananas after the game but found no evidence to support Diouf's claims.

Goodison boss David Moyes and senior club figures are outraged by his comments, considering false allegations of racism as serious as allegations of racism.

Any attempt by a Premier League club to impose their own ban on a player from another club would be fiercely challenged by the governing body.

And Diouf has been supported by his manager Sam Allardyce, who is now waiting for the outcome of the police inquiry.

I would av kicked him out of football for the spitting incident them few years ago that was a utter disgrace !!!!!!!!
Diouf never has problems finding work It's down to the clubs that set him on in the first place. They know what they are getting themselves into...
