..............cant think of any other reason why they should appoint Wilson only that he knows the 1st Division I hope the directors didn't listen to the BBS about this appointment..........surely they didn't take notice of the fans choice !!! The last time he was at Barnsley we were relegated............I cant see any other way that this is not going to happen again if he comes back I didn't want Wilson last time and he proved me wrong...........fingers crossed he proves me wrong again this time Pissed off !!!!!!!!!!
Let's be right though. What you know about football you could write on the back of a postage stamp. Twice. In block capitals. And still have room left for your name and address. As per everyone else on here.
Come on, realistically were going down whoever was in charge. We've been in last chance saloon for past 3-4 seasons. We can't compete with over 2/3rds of Championship for players or on wages. So we've ended up with a team full of lower league (cheap) players or special case 'projects' Think Wilson is the best man 'available' to build a team ready for next seasons campaign.
Really? I can't imagine it will be anything more than the standard 12 month roller. Might even be just a deal til the end of season.
Barnsley Football Club is a totally different proposition since Wilson was here last........the club has been further developed and has moved on And the same can be said for the Championship..........its a league that I think Wilson will struggle in But like I said.......fingers crossed I'm wrong
And the last time he was here he was a strong hungry 30 (something) year old man that had something to prove He is now 53 year old man and looking at retirement
I agree with your assessment and only time will tell as to the outcome. If the fan base are still regarding Wilson as a Messiah in May then I will be a Happy man. In the meantime regardless of opinions let's get behind them and give us a fighting chance. YOU REDS!
"The last time he was at Barnsley we were relegated.." FROM THE PREMIER LEAGUE ffs. Not a bad record, is it. I could cope with that sort of relegation more often.
