We don't have 'Women's' or 'Gay's' or 'Senior Citizen' Player of the Year. Why do we still have a seperate award for Player of the Season chosen by Disabled Supporters.
My guess is that there is an identified disabled supporters club Who arrange buses to away teams and that. Just a thought.
Dunno, but the amount of taches and tight denim on show in the section of the Ponty near the corner stand once prompted us to name it the Liberace section.......
I remember the days of segregation when many supporters with disabilities were coralled (good word!) in a section near the away end. Now there is access for the disabled in most parts of the ground and much more integration. As we're all watching the same game we should vote together.
The pre-supposes that all activities such as football, shopping and interior decorating is equally attractive to gays as heterosexuals. By your logic half the crowd are women.
Told ya - about 2/3 of the way down the Ponty on the right hand side looking from the back. All taches and tight denim, not a bird in sight. Has got to be them.
Erm, they're just another supporters group arent they? Are you saying that the London Tykes or Wombwell Reds shouldn't hold their own player of the year award either?
Everyone should vote for one player of the year award at Oakwell and all the Disabled supporters should be allowed to take part in that vote. Being disabled shouldn't mean someone is excluded. Good luck to the Wombwell Reds, London Reds etc.
What are you on about? In what way are they exluded? They are a fan group who as well as voting for the main Player of the Year award(should they want to) have purchased their own trophy and hold their own vote in exactly the same way as other fan groups do. (Wombwell Reds, London Tykes etc). Where is there a problem here beacuse Im really struggling to see it. The players also pick players player of the year. (Foster was awarded it at the dinner last night) Should they be allowed to do that?
