Mate at work has had to to finish work on ill health , he has epilepsy , and is now on mobility and disability benefits . will he qualify for a disabled season ticket , he has phoned club but the woman he spoke to had no clue
Have a similar situation in my family and we've never been given any concession. Perhaps we just didn't ask!
I did a couple of years as a companion back in the day and my mate just had to provide proof of benefits
I hope the folk of Lund wood art reading this otherwise they'll be queuing down pony road to get a cheap ticket.
my season ticket is a bit disabled also at the moment... well the cover anyway. got a broken spine and hanging by a thread.
I was asking the same couple of weeks back. I'm registered disabled following the stroke and get a little help with the personal independence payment, while I get back to earning fully. I'm off for tickets tomorrow so will inquire at the B.O. and report back. I don't need or want to go in the disabled stand, that space should be for those less fortunate and mobile than me. But a concessionary season ticket would certainly help while I get back up to speed. There must be some guidelines for qualification. It's likely more people would qualify than we think. Be well, everyone...
They have told him he qualifies , one staff member has said he can sit in any stand and another one has told him he has to go in disabled section .
Probably more people would qualify than we realise. I don't think that would be such a bad thing. The club would still get money up front and may even benefit financially, rather than people just attending sporadically ( if that's the word). And it's not as if we don't have space.
isn't this a private matter between him and the club, instead of it being aired on here???? i wouldn't thank you for it...
