Didn't think Sunderland were much better than us and I thought we were only ok'ish. Both goals were soft and on another day we would have got a relatively easy point. If we'd actually attacked them who knows... I was impressed with their work ethic and I hope Davey took note, every one of their players were always looking for the ball and that is probably what made the difference. Remembering how crap both teams were at the Stadium of Light last year just shows how far hard work can take you. Also thought their fans were poor, hardly a muff until they scored which considering there were nearly 8000 of them was a bit embarrassing.
