Of course he did. He started 2 up front, that's more attacking intent than we've shown recently in most games. That formation didn't work - He didn't set out not to win.
Yeah I heard him say he didn't want to win the match before we kicked off What a stupid comment Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He never made a change that influenced today's game in a positive manner. He left Jabo on who did nothing at all today. We never attacked them. Easy win for Sheff Utd.
Not sure we had any game changing subs on the bench. Sometimes we just have to accept that we will play poorly on occasions. It's how we bounce back now
I must have watched a different game to everyone else because I'm sure we played 442 and only changed to one up front for about 10 minutes in the second half when he realised we had no width in midfield
If anything Lee was too positive today. Went 2 up top and played a winger in Stewart at the tip of the diamond, rather than Conor with another runner partnering Josh. Also played the more attacking John at left back. After their goal he made a good decision to change to 4-5-1, but fell down by not pushing John up earlier. After their second he was again perhaps too daring by taking Conor off and conceeding possession to go 2 up top again. Mostly positive moves, I'd say he was too brave today and didn't respect Utd enough. Not going to criticise him too harshly though as long as he returns to the familiar setup, it shows that even in our run of good form he isn't satisfied and wanted to push the team further.
