...Isn't that we're losing games, with out squad I expect us to lose every week.

It's the way it's happening with so little attacking intent. To have 3 shots on target in 3 games is terrible. Come on lads, for f.ck sake. I know we're planning for next year but I still wunt mind a nice little end of the season. For once.

Same here - Didn't expect anything but a loss today, but it's the lack of chances or shots that's worrying.

We don't seem to have anyone who can run at a defence - It's either direct to Davis (terrible 1st touch), or we over elaborate trying to pass the ball around the box, but with no-one having the bottle or confidence to have a pop.

We need a good flourish at the end of the season to sell more season tickets - its not going to happen on current form/performance sadly.

I think that sums up how I feel. I really thought we would avoid the usual capitulation post New Year.

Phil we did fine without those players when we played Derby so we can do it. I'm not having a go at anyone and I dont think we will go down but it is frustrating to see another season just fizzle out. I'm still positive about Hill though and think next season will be better.

I blame keith for his comments after xmas. Butts was saying he and the players were going for the playoffs and hill came out basically rubished it and poured cold water on the whole thing. How must that feel for the players?? He says he has a stick on smile for the players so their energy aint drained. Well im sorry but you burst the bubble of the entire squad with those comments keith!! And the fans.

    didn't we have perkins?

Perkins picks up balls between the midfield and defence.
Dawson can do that but he's still not fully fit and it'll be next season before he's really at it.

Give over. Just ignoring the other times he's said we could reach the play offs/top 12 since?

i'm positive about hill mario,,but i seriously wonder how long we can hang onto him,,,he's highly thought of throughout the media and the rest of the championship,,if a better offer comes along i reckon he may well be on his way,,he's got no money here at barnsley and just about every other championship team could offer him better prospects

You're just ignoring everything I'm saying.

I agree it was always gonna be difficult wiart 'em, but the way we're not even seeming to have a go is winding me up.

Yeah I think we did but my point was the team was pretty much what it is now so we can do it. I agree that some of the players will be better next season but I'd just like to see us attack teams seeing as I think we are almost safe. Better to lose having a go than lose without any fight.

I'm pretty sure you're right, Hill will be gone if a club that can match his ambitions better comes in for him.

that's the point we're in it now. if he goes we have the crap players he's brought in, if he leaves we've got the crap players he's brought in.
