Exellent, producing another crop of talented youngsters for Scunny.

    Pleases me also.

Disco was a good direct winger and became an "adopted son of BFC".

    Good luck Disco.

Quality. We'd be so much better with a player like him in this team now. Frustrating at times but he was a proper winger who had a go.

Saw him in our local Chinese takeaway last week and thought he was wearing a Huddersfield t-shirt, but it must have been Hyde.

He seems to have been hanging around the club a lot this season, so I always thought there was something in the pipeline, thought he may be doing his coaching badges or whatever, so I was a bit surprised when he signed for Hyde.

Great to have someone like Disco back at the club, a real fans favourite who no doubt will have a good effect on the young players.

No idea on his role, just that he's now coaching at the academy.

Strange that a Cheltenham lad should decide to stay in this area but very glad that he has.
Hope he add something to the academy setup

I've seen him knocking about several times around Barnsley over the years since he left, which I always found strange given that he'd been left a long time and didn't have any prior connection with the area (that I know of). Turns out he bought a house at Oxspring while he played for us and didn't want to move - probably for the sake of the kids.

Agree with the other posts, there should always be a place for ex players like Disco at the club.

Schhh... Don't mention it too loudly but parts of Barnsley aren't so bad to live in; it's not all scumbags, foreigners and scroungers. Probably get 3 x the house for his bucks too than he would in Gloucestershire.

I am pleased too. Martin Devaney is a top bloke for me

ok he may not have been one of our most gifted players, but he always gave his all for the team. Came off after every game totally soaked in sweat after running through the "Brick wall" for us. I for one would like to see a few players like him at Oakwell, and by that I mean players who want to play and want to sweat blood for us. I am sadly not believing in the present shower at all.

He was basically a better version of Jim O'Brien.

I agree. Bring back Jovo Bosancic to look after one of the age groups.

And how about bringing back Paul Futcher as defensive coach.
