    The upturn in form in February was when Disco coached the team as Poya had Covid. He may well be the best option as we'll need to bring a few young lads through next year.

    When you say 'part of the problem', what are you basing that on? What 'type of thinking' does Martin Devaney have? Are you basing that on his coaching style with the 23s, or his time in the dugout with Poya? Genuine question.

    I recall Johnny Steele, Danny Wilson, Andy Ritchie & Paul Heckingbottom all being accused of being the 'cheap option' and 'part of the problem' with their so-called association with the previous gaffer. Yet all of them achieved promotion whilst being in charge, a feat their predecessors failed to manage. Of all the internal promotions that went on to win promotion, only Norman Hunter avoided that criticism.

    Really ! Just because I don’t agree with certain things ?
    Watching the reds for nearly 40 years pal and this is worrying times regarding the next season . Ultimately I dont think he’s the answer right now . Too familiar with the players . Under a stricter more experienced coach, then yes . Maybe poya was too nice hence why the players liked him .
    Devaney under a coach like Val, I would say yes because it would help him enormously. .

    I say it because he’s been in the dug out and been training the first team . A new approach is required, back to high press attacking football. As a number 2 I would be in favour of .
