I'll ask questions later......,, Here we are, 9 games without a win. Previous to that a reyt fookin run of wins and clean sheets! Is this just L1 footy? Or footy in general? I don't know?!?!? DW sacked! Fair dos. Fish eyes etc. LJ great start (not forgetting the interims) Now it's a bit mmmmm Loads of kids blooded Loanees (most clubs have them) gone back 60 folk walked to the match but everyone I've spoken today's the players didn't gone a **** Anyway, discuss, is the merry-go-round gonads be turning again anytime soon?
Somewhat annoying when "discuss" is posted. If you have a point to make, then do so. The rest of us are not performing seals tha nos. Nice of you to ask questions later though.......
Said it before say it again. Football is and always will be a results based business. Wilson had to go and thankfully our form improved but now we will see if Lee Johnson has what it takes to turn this club around. The summer months will give him an opportunity to sort things out and impose his influence on proceedings. Playing Negative football and losing games on a regular basis will result in the same outcome as his predecessor encountered. Try and entertain, play a more adventurous style of football win or lose, and implement a plan where progress appears to be happening, and maybe he will be given a fair crack of the whip in order to turn things round. Best Wishes Lee Johnson and roll on next season!
A completely pointless sacking. Thus far Johnson has underperformed if you compare the same results against the same teams earlier in the season. Not that I attach much blame to him. We are, what we have been all season, a team in its early transition stage. A consistently inconsistent team sometimes playing well sometimes poorly. We have now replaced a manager with a proven record of talent spotting of developing players with one who has no record of doing so whilst stating that 'adding value' and development are at the centre of our 'business'. This does not seem robe a great decision. Our current managers transfer targets would appear to be players our previous manager highlighted with little ideas other than lump it up to the big lad being offered so far.
There are differences. Wilson signed / developed these players believing they would do the job in hand and coached us to the results and performances we have seen. Johnson has recognised many of these players aren't good enough, strong enough or have the right attitude. He hasn't yet had a chance to do owt abart it. Results and performances will be the measure of whether LJ can fix it.
