    I see windy went and had a go at them :D He was putting up a good argument but the others were just taking the piss out of barnsley, like 12 year olds, i don't think they think manchester is a bad place. Windy could have gone down the same route as those fools, but he just confused them with his english skills & that was that.

    I didn't think they'd approached him anyway

    It was newspaper talk - they said that Fergie "MAY look to up and coming Championship managers" and then listed 3 or 4 possibilities, which didn't sound to me as though that was eminating from Old Trafford.

    Can't see why he'd leave to be a number 2, although if anywhere I guess OT to be groomed to take over, but then again Viv Anderson left to be an assistant at a club in same division as us....but that was because he knew he was out of his depth as a manager.
