    Hang your heads in shame.
We didn't learn anything from last week did we.
The team selection was awful, we again lacked any sort of discipline, giving stupid fouls away. Too naive, pathetic ball retention from our midfielders.

I'm afraid that's it for our season. Sinking like a stone.

I honestly think this team is just as bad as Flitcrofts. Garbage.

Only saying what i see. 3 games in a row we have been awful. Very very lucky against Blackburn and lucky to get a point today.

Second half display was as poor as anything i've witnessed this season, but i suspected as much on viewing the team sheet at the pre match build up.
The mentality has to change. Midfield devoid of quality and creativity.

Can't agree with that. Blackburn were obviously a very decent side, and I think we did a job on them. We were certainly on the back foot in the first half, but I thought we gained a lot of momentum in the 2nd half which was killed when their lad went down injured.

The Wednesday game was a write off really, a man down for the majority, against a team in form only to lose in the final minute.

Today I agree though. Ipswich were poor, and in the first half, we were equally so. We seemed to score out of nothing. I thought at half time that Ipswich couldn't get any worse. They attacked with a lot of purpose but with very little conviction. We got the 2nd goal against the run of play, but then surely should have been able to see the game out. I think Wilson got it wrong. We were dealt an unfortunate hand with Hunt having to go off, but the change in formation was poor. They then attacked O'Brien's flank which you would expect when a side plays a player out of position. It was a poor performance and yet another game we should have won. We now have 2 away trips in a row in which we need AT LEAST 4 points from

    Which midfield?

The original one which had us 2 up at one point?

    The replacement one?

    The one that wasn't picked?

Or the one absent through miscreance at Hillsborough?

Not as bad as the garbage you've just posted. This team is a lot better and will get better.

I agree to a certain extent RE Blackburn and Wednesday, but you would have thought we would learn to stop being so poorly disciplined and stupidly naive when it comes to ball retention and player movement etc. Clearly JOB and Dawson haven't got the much needed quality to dominate and dictate play, and all too often we see them give the ball away thus inviting too much pressure on our defence. So why not change it up in midfield? Find a formula that works? I was very disappointed when i saw the starting line up pre match.
Danny Wilson has got to do more to impress me im afraid, as i am very disappointed so far.

    agreed

and yes yes yes that's really from the DRAGON... I know I do whine a lot and take irony/sarcasm/whatever form of wit to some different and bizarre levels, but Hicksy I agree with you. Its now we need to get behind em... yes I really did say that. AND I also think Wilson is the man for the job too, Cryne has done a fabulous job at the club and we are one of the few who can hold our heads up and say we doing it in an honest and proper way too, unlike the likes of Man City, Chelski, Cardiff, Brighton, Watford , Portsmouth etc etc.

I agree, I'd have certainly started with either Lawrence or Woods instead of O'Brien. I mean they're not going to get fit unless they play. Dawson has had a poor few games, but I can't see him getting dropped until Woods, Lawrence or Digby get up to speed, but again, they can't unless they're playing.

I wouldn't say disgusting but I don't know how we ended up 2-0 up. The amount of balls the likes of Hunt played into the box nobody got on the end of when Steele was stuck to his line. They also hit the woodwork in the second half and had another hatful of chances. We nearly scored an own goal too that lead to a second quick corner from them that they scored from. From the 2nd half starting to us scoring our second i'd love to know the possession.

giving the ball away cheaply over and over again. Making a rod for our own back. Giving away needless free kicks. Inviting pressure on ourselves. Dropping points late on. Individual errors. Tactical mistakes. O'Brien. They were wearing blue, us in red. I was there.

Nothing to do with Cywka not getting back and defending.

for which goal? the one where O'Brien controlled it for them on the line or the one where we gave away a stupid free kick on the edge of the box?

Agreed, but Offspring is young and it shows.

He's part of the me me now now generation

Sorry Offspring but back in the day folk had a season before there was even a sign of discontent.
