Do all the exiled reds know where we are?

    Not heard owt from Mick in Oz, Tyke Far from Home, TMFDM, Red Helen, Thrappo Tyke, London Tykes etc. Just wondered if they knew where we are now or are they just browsing as guests? Maybe even awaiting the return of the old board? (NOOO)

    I would assume that they know about this site as both old board and opinion tyke point this way. Maybe they're waiting to see how this board develops before jumping in

    You may be right. The other thing is that the football season hasn't started in earnest so there ain't much news to discuss. Maybe the usage will increase once the big kick-off has taken place on August 6th

    they could be reading as guests. I have seen posts from TMFDM.

    Saw TMFDM on the Bravenet site

    But he's not down as a registered user on here. Unless he's registered under a different name. I noticed quite a few names used today aren't down as registered users including Glenn McGrath's Mate, Boris Tyke and a few joke names. How have they done that? I thought unless you were registered you came up as a guest.

    You can still post in guest mode and change the name to whatever you want. Just as I have done now.

    If you are not logged in, you can post under any name, but you have to type your name each time you post a message - it won't remember you.  If you leave the Name field blank, it comes up as Guest.

    Ahh, mystery solved

    I never posted as a guest but have seen several other people post as guests. When you look at the on-line users they are only registered as guests - none of these wacky names. Thanks for explaining that oh font of all knowledge. Ever thought of going on Mastermind (Seriously)?
