It can make a huge difference,it doesn't matter how fit or well paid you are,it takes the human body so much time to replenish and recover after a game,an extra day like Leicester had could have made a difference if they had been more competetive.
We should be kicking off at the same time on the same day in my opinion - some teams have had extra time to prepare . Giving some teams an advantage
They weren't tired at least, just totally footballed to death by the super reds. Bet they feel knackered today.
It would have done had they competed at all.....they only came into it at the end when some of our lads were on their chinstraps.
how hard can it be to organise it like this at easter that is you play either Friday and Sunday afts or Saturday and Monday afts then there is no argument IMHO
Re: how hard can it be to organise it like this As each team plays someone different each game it probably isn't as easy as you think.
Re: how hard can it be to organise it like this i know i'm going off topic a little here but does anyone one know why Bolton & Palace always kick off there midweek home games at 20-00
I hear what you say, but look at it this way there are x number of fixtures over the Easter week-end. I am pretty sure that it would not be in the realms of 'rocket science' to break them up so that the teams are evenly timetabled. Even taking into account Sky's needs too. I am talking mainly about the Football league BTW, as I cannot give a toss about the preening 'ladyboys' of the premier league
Aye cos a superb athletic specimen that is a football player needs a huge rest inbetween doing their day jobs.
