Offload him for £100k (ono) to some Division 1 or 2 Club where his "Big Player" ego will feel at home (Bradford City perhaps). Otherwise he's just a burden on the wage bill!!!
I would have thought the only way it could fall through is if howard rejects the contract offer from sheff united, like what lewin did to us
I'd say it was all done and dusted. The difference with the Nyatanga deal was, we had agreed a fee, not a transfer. And Sheff Utd have put down half the transfer already, so there's not much chance of it falling through.
Nothing can be signed can it? I would imagine this is more than a "gentleman's agreement". How can it be anything other than a loan at this stage? Certainly Brian Howard can't sign anything legally binding, so at the very least, he can change his mind should a better offer come in from elsewhere... BFC owns Brian Howards registration and transfers cannot take place outside the window. If contracts and transfer documents have been signed, wouldn't that also be against the rules?
personally i hope he got a massive dose of knacker rot for crimbo and i hope they both rot off slowly and painfully
id assume it as a written agreement that howard signs first jan for X amount after a three month loan period.
Not too sure, but.. ..probably a deal that Howard will become a Sheff Utd player on the 1st of January for the agreed amount of money. And more than likely, he will have agreed a contract, etc.
More to the point :- Will we have to take him back if they don't want him or can we tell them to **** of cos we don't want him back.
