    Bonjour à tous!

Serious question. I have read the "reports", and tried to come to a balanced view of our pre season games so far. Assuming that fitness levels, player availabilty, and match-day organisation are all in a good position for our opening league games, what positions do you think will/can be realistically strengthend now before the big kick-off? Lessons learnt etc? Still too early to judge for Davey?

Is it fair to assume that if we were trying to recruit KP, there was a list of alternatives. Are these still available? Can we attract them?

I welcome your views from the other side of La Manche!

    Salut!

I think most would agree we stil need to strengthen the strike force. I expect Davey going in for a striker on loan.

you didn't get much of a response! I've not seen any of the preseason so far but intend going to Sheff to see us against Rotherham.

But surely Davey wants to bring another striker in.

We looked weak up front last night, Macken had a decent 1st half and Oddjob a decent 2nd even though he missed 2 or 3 sitters. I think our main problem last night was poor communication between Moore, Kozluk and Letheren; when the season starts Letheren wont be playing anyway but thats what caused most problems in front of goal for us last night
