I don't actually think you are being serious

I think the irony filter is broken on here.

But just in case anyone believes you for a minute
    It was his stage name

Do they have an away kit?

Been known before in pre-season when a team has yet to unveil their new kit

    Don't believe it

not saying you're wrong, but "not having a kit" is the worst excuse imaginable for not playing.

    They could:

    a) borrow one from the Shrimps;

    b) number up the training tops (which I think should be away kit anyway!); or

    c) buy a set of shirts.

If they don't play, it's because they don't WANT to play, and bugger all to do with kit.

I'm really pleased that someone took the time to do that!

I hope all the visiting fans will do the same when they go to Morecambe. It would be a tribute to Eric's universal appeal to see fans visiting his statue and enjoying it.

    Eric Morecambe

I think the statue and its surrounds are brilliant, a truly fitting tribute to a great entertainer.

And superbly sculpted by Tarn's own Graham Ibbeson - a truly gifted artist.

it certainly gets a lot of interest from visitors to Morecambe

the whole prom is a lot better than before, lot of money spent on it, and with the Midland Hotel being renovated that is another giant step forward for the resort,
hope you all enjojed your visit
