Not a day goes by on here, without someone saying "I hope we don't sell Howard/Muller" or someone else. Now in my eyes and I know i'm not alone. Those two are the best two players we have. Say we did sell one of them or both of them, would it be the end of the world? The way Davey is in the transfer market, he would be likely to find a couple of jems to replace them. No player is bigger than the club, we would have money in the bank etc.

Whilst I'd hate to see Muller go, the money should be more than enough to buy a capable replacement and strengthen elsewhere.

no one is ireplaceable...but some are inspirational

Mullers penalty save last night was almost as good as scoring a second goal....you could see the Wolves players literally deflate when he saved it, they musta thowt,"what do we have to do to score", so Muller whilst not irreplaceable is or would be a a massive loss and confidence blow....our defence looked the biz , is that because Muller gives them that added confidence.Peter Schmeichal did that or Man Ure . Howard is a bit the same,Talismatic ...but now as confidence is so obviously blossoming the whole team is beginning to grow and feel good Jamal was an absolute terrorist to the Wolves last night and I was impressed with the way Werling and Devaney seemed to gel together it was as if the had a telepathic link at times , their partnership was very good down the wing...Macken and Stan have a fabulous holding of the ball and Silva was awesome....Souza owned the air at the back and Nyatanga was massive ....Foster had a superb game and was very constructive....when we subbed it was seamless our game did not get affected...WE PLAYED WOLVES OFF THE PARK they ran out of ideas and had nothing to give in the end...and the only thing the scoreline did was Flatter the Wolves...they were lucky not to have taken a heavier defeat..if or when our strikers begin hitting the net we will be a fearsome team....and finally... I have stopped looking down the table, no need,to we only need to look up 'cos thats the way we will only go.

id hate to loose muller, he really is a matchwinner, not irriplaceable but i think if he went in january it would knock the spirit in the camp a hell of alot.

    Depends

Davey will be aware who is likely to go in Jan (if anyone) and may already have repalcements lined up. What we now have is a squad capable of holding it's own in this league. The player I'd least like to see go is Muller as he's in a specialist area and appears to be a real find. Whats to say there isn't a 6' 6&quot; playing in the Dutch 3rd Division just waiting for the call from Davey?</p>

    Muller is

    pretty much irreplaceable.

It would be a struggle to get anyone as commanding and secure in the nets at this level.

    RE: Muller is

I agree with the comments others have made but if I was Muller I would think hard before I left (not saying he wants to leave).

People are talking about Fulham. I believe Muller could be as good as Niemi but he is not tested at that level and does he potentially want to play reserve team football like Anderson De Silva was at Everton?

I hope we can keep the squad together but I do like the scouting team that Davey has got together!
