For all home and away games.
And if so will home games be included for free as part of season ticket purchase.

Please don’t read this as condescending, it’s not. But, if you have a season pass, would the club not expect you to attend in person rather than want an iFollow code?
Again, not patronising, I have kind of lost touch with what the latest restrictions are. But I have a season pass and my preferred method of watching will definitely be from my seat at Oakwell.

Latest from both Colchester and also from @YTBFC is that as restrictions are relaxed iFollow goes back to normal so it will not be possible to watch Saturday afternoon matches on iFollow if you are in the UK. I assume other games will be available for a tenner see

    No that's fine.
Reason I was asking about home games is if there are times when one can't attend is the ifollow option going to be available?
I shall be going to Oakwell as normal but if there are still restrictions on attendance numbers I was wondering how they would sort out the excess.
Might it be that there are no away fans and the 11000 s/t holders are spread around the ground.

I suspect if deaths and hospital admissions reach a certain amount they would have all home and away fans show a vaccine passport to get in to carry on as 'normal' rather than reduce capacity with social distancing and not allowing away fans.

Thats not the current expectation - currently its expected that in August grounds will operate normally at least the grounds in England so I would expect away fans - I wont be surprised if that changes as we move into Autumn if a 4th wave takes off

Pretty certain that if things return to 'normal', then ifollow codes will only be available to overseas customers again for Saturday 3pm kick offs.

As of right now, we are led to believe fans are back without restrictions and thus, iFollow coverage will revert to pre-COVID times. So, only those overseas or pretending to be overseas can purchase match passes for Saturday 3pm kick-offs, which I believe will see a slight increase in price. But we've had no finalised details at this stage. Must be soon though, you'd have thought.

    Thanks.
I take it therefore that the 11000 s/t holders will be accommodated in Oakwell, come what may. (Unless there's a monumental about-face which is out of our/your control)

As it stands, those who have a season ticket and wish to attend, will be able to.

My best guess is that should the pandemic go tits-up again and they have to reduce capacity again to the point where not all ST holders can be accommodated, then the ones who fail to get a seat in a ballot will be given iFollow codes. Probably.

problem is - and I know its not down to the club, that anyone who has bought a ST but is not comfortable attending due to being one of the at risk people, have no (legal) way to watch the games on Saturdays.
And probably none of us will be able to watch our opening game at Cardiff as even if at the last minute away fans are allowed train tickets are impossibly priced at short notice
Just because Coco decrees we are back to normal ( but then says we arent) doesnt mean everyone has to act as if we have put the clock back 2 years.
My church for example is still streaming services so that those uncomforable or unable to attend can still participate - something they had never done until a year ago

I know that the Club can only go by ifollow rules - in turn are ifollow governed/restricted by EFL rules- i.e not offering a service to show Saturday games for a cost?

We`ve been spoilt with being able to watch every game from home - will be hard to go back to Geoff Stelling!

There as yet seems to be no info on when we can collect season passes. Any info Andy?

Hope the slight increase in price for iFollow involves an improvement in the service for those who use it such as better picture quality, commentary/adverts being the same volume and not cutting to adverts when the commentary team are still talking.

Slight to some may be unaffordable to others.
Seems like the trend to pump up prices on everything these days is infectious.

As someone who lives over 100 miles away and is of a senior disposition, I will be sorry not to get the game on iFollow. I’ll happily pay more to get the games. I suggested that it’s not beyond technological possibility to make a virtual season ticket for home and away games.
Yes I do prefer to be in the ground!
