Because the current ones lack of ability to count a few votes is frightening, what is it now since the voting process finished 4 weeks on Saturday ?, and he's still not worked out which one won, it's quite alarming when you think this is the same person who as the job of balancing the books and working out a transfer/wage bill budget, could be February before he knows if Wilson as any funds for the January transfer window.

Do you not think there might have been a few other priorities over the last few weeks?

Couldn't care less about the badge situation - as Mansford said in the press conference, the honeymoon period is over - but to suggest we need rid of him? Good grief, the impatience is incredible.

Its all smoke screens and mirrors, he knows exactly which badge as won and he's known since the day voting finished, the way that site was set up it's nailed on it was counting as the votes where being cast so why bull **** saying he's number crunching ?, kept in the dark yet again, it stinks of things not going the way they wanted the to now they're trying to find a way out of it

Its a badge. Only a badge
i would much rather our chief executive concentrate on the dire situation that the team are in. Rudderless and bottom of the league!
If the voting hasn't gone the way they want, who cares, its not going to change my love of the reds.
They could have a picture of a pile of ***** on it. I will always support my team.

And no its not blind support. I just think petty problems being blown out of all proportion, is not what the club needs at the minute.
It needs EVERY fan to be behind WILSON and the TEAM!

I really couldn't give a toss about the badge. Let's get behind the team both those on the pitch and the back room staff.

All this over a badge? That's the most frightening part.

Focus right now is survival. Ben & co know this. Tough Christmas fixtures then the January window to negotiate. I'm not expecting any news on badges, or scoreboards, or fans road shows, until Feb

don't know if you've noticed, but he's had flit croft, mellon and wilson to sort out. i reckon you're in a pretty small minority, of people who care about the badge right now.

Ahh right, now i get what you mean. Cos he has been busy organising the search for a new manager, quietly and effectively and not letting small things get in the way. Of course its not about the situation with the badge, he has not done loads of stuff that i can think off. In fact besides him running a multi million pound business. Bloody hell he is ***** isn't he.
From this day forth i expect Ben to inform EVERY fan on a daily basis, what he has achieved for that day. Ooh and what colour tie he is wearing, cos i didn't like the one he had on in the press conference.
If his Mrs sorted his clothes out, then she too can't organise a shirt in a gentlemans outfitters.

of all the pressing concerns at the club, the badge is least of anyone's concern. Apart from Nightmare.

TBH as much as I dislike the present badge I really don't care that much which one they go with, as everyone says lets get the bloody important stuff sorted first!!

this thread just typifies all that's wrong with certain "fans" of our club, the management staff have been a little preoccupied of late trying to organise a Christmas pressy for 8000 people, and all you're bothered about is a poxy badge, WEAR WHICH YOU WANT, I said in a post a few days ago that there are certain types that just look for the slightest thing to have a pop at the club about, and I for 1 think that the backroom staff have acted absolutely bang on in the way the search for the new manager has been conducted

FWIW, personally i think they should chalk $hit on the badge for this season, and go back to the drawing board next year. I personally don't think keeping the existing one is a vote of confidence for what we have - it's a vote of no confidence for the ones proposed. I think the brand refresh will come eventually.

Right now, the badge is of no interest to me whatsoever, and I couldn't care less if he doesn't mention it again.

Daft question really, the guy seems to be doing an alreight job so far, this badge thing seems to have backfired on him slightly, but then maybe he has learnt summat abart the fanbase that he didn`t previously realise.

    Power to the people.

Maybe he's just pissy because Wilson is manager and he was wrong about Mellon.

Maybe after saying it was a tight vote between 2 of em, he should have added that they were putting it on hold for the moment and returning to it at a later date.
