Seems so. Those who go away do so because they want to not because they already paid for the ticket (season ticket). I can think of a few games over last couple of years when we numbered very few on our travels and come back with 3 points.
There are just as many occasions when we have gone away with a good following and got something. Plymouth, Fowls, Burnley, Donny, Preston, Southend, Liverpool etc. The main thing is that it is away games, and I am sure the supporters play a part in that. The atmosphere inside Oakwell isn't great. Too many people who don't want to support from the off, just waiting for a reason to moan.
No We picked up 29 points at home last season compared with 21 away and scored 9 more goals at home. I think it's simply a case of playing a lower league opposition in the last round and a weakened reading side with about 6 reserves in the starting 11.
