you've seen our form after beating liverpool, its just been plain /poo and if we do beat chelski it'll go to the players heads with thoughts of wembley and that. if we lose against chelski it'll bring them down to earth and hopefully shake them up a bit. i for one would rather see barnsley survive in league rather then get to semi's at wembley

We WILL win the FA Cup. If it means League1 and UEFA Cup then bring it on!

Now that would be really funny.

    Chelski? Please don't - that's what

Liverpoo fans call us, and you don't want to be associated with that lot!

You're not in that much danger of going down are you?

Just checked the table. You'll be alright I reckon.

I hope so anyway - you deserve to go up after beating the scousers!

Imagine.. it's 0-0, playing injury time. Barnsley awarded pen. Howard stepping up to take what would certainly be the winner. If he misses Barnsley are (just for argument's sake) 6-1 to be relegated. If he scores, they're 2-1. Would you want him to score? Would you want to take the risk for the team reaching the semis?

I would as well, and hope the boost would translate into league wins, safety and a better following next season.

If not, then I hope for a game where we put in an admired performance, don't come out of it battered, give us a better league form afterwards and better support next season.

LOL, a League One side in the UEFA Cup! I'd much rather be a Championship side in the UEFA Cup tho :)

yeah me too, while we all know the league is more important, these occasions come up very rarely. Let,s enjoy it when we get chance because a lot of us will still go every week irrespective of which league we,re in. (dancin)

I don't know why this is even being discussed. You wouldn't be a proper Barnsley fan if you wanted us out so we could concentrate on the league - that's just a load of cobblers / sour grapes when people say "well, at least we can concentrate on the league now". Where is the law / evidence to prove that it definately has a detrimental affect on your league form? Who's to say we wouldn't have had exactly the same form (or slightly worse) had we lost at Anfield? Nobody can guarantee that.

    Racist.
