I see a lot of these foreign investors as money grabbers (this is not aimed to be racist before people start), the likes of Man City and that, i recon once they have conquered what they want, they will leave and let them struggle with the debt. Same with Chelsea, i dont want someone coming into our club and banging money in left right and centre, giving us a multimillion pound squad, us not making an impression to them and then going right stuff ya were off... Pompey for example. Scum for example, stupidly in debt.

I would rather have a good team like we have now and not be in debt and keep with our current owners.

But... if these people are really interested in our club for the good reasons why are the choosing us?

as much as i would love us to be up there with the best and have money growing out of our ears, i dont want us to go back in debt, is it risky or me just talking *****?

    probably me talking ***** :)

Have Chelseas or Man Citys owners left? No, so stop talking silly. How do you know what position they will leave the football clubs in when they decide to sell...

To Abramovich and Mansour their clubs are a plaything to indulge themselves, they have so much money they could own most of the premier league clubs at the same time...and still have change,if you think anyone like that is coming for us, I admire your optimism but I think you'll be sadly disappointed.

We can't get away from the fact that Patrick Cryne has been trying to sell the club for several years and now with his detioriating health problems and up coming court case its highly unlikely we are going to be able to stay under the same ownership for too much longer and under the circumstances its totally unfair to expect that to happen.

    3) Playing at a decent standard.

Cryne and co. love BFC. They are supporters first and foremost.

Loads more clubs with better "potential" ... and a number of them doing well this year ... without spending too much time looking ... how about these two
Tranmere - Wirral has a 300K population. and is a very wealthy Borough
Nott County - oldest football leagure club and 300K population
Oh heck ... just remembered ... wer'nt Notts County the next man City two season ago?

    Almost a good post dreamboy!

Except that Debt should read debt, and bare should read bear. It is bear as in to bring forth and not are as in naked.

    Sorry to be a pendant.

Let's all buy a lottery ticket tonight and Friday and buy the club!
PC only wants £1m + £2m for the overdraft +£6m he's loaned BFC (repayable only when we get to the Premier League!!)
That's my plan (after the house/Aston Martin etc etc)
Hillflicker don't need £10m to strengthen the squad - they're better at picking up players that nobody else wants and developing them. In a perverse way, and for all his moaning about parachutes, think Keef would prefer to use his skills to make the team
