Do you go in champions league if you win Fa cup??

    UEFA Cup mate. Not sure how it would work in this scenario though.

    Pompey play a Championship side in the Final. Pompey manage to qualify for UEFA Cup through their league position. Pompey were to beat the Championship team in the FA Cup Final. Would the losing finalist go into the UEFA Cup or would the next team down in the Premier League get the nod?

    Imagine if we were to win the cup AND get relegated! Would we be the first ever team in League One (/equivalent) to play in European competition?

    Team further down in league go in UEFA Cup as Pompey would enter as cup winners.

    Unless of course Pompey can string some reults together and get 4th spot in the league. Then they'll take CL spot and cup runners up should be given the UEFA spot.
