In light of the lack of respect for Iain Hume and BFC shown by Andy D'Urso and the FA... apologies if there's already been a poll along these lines.
Re: Do you think BFC should withdraw its support for the FA "Respect" campaign? absolutely deffinately yes
Re: Do you think BFC should withdraw its support for the FA "Respect" campaign? Respect is earnt. By both parties.
RE: 12-0 so far, mixed feelings really i do feel for sunday-league refs who get undue abuse for contributing their free time. It's sad when that part of the Respect campaign suffers because the professionals are so inept and lacking any accountability. D'Urso gets absolutely no sanction whatsoever for an appalling performance, including ignoring pleas from a player that ultimately leads to a horrific challenge - which he then tries to gloss over. The FA... well, what do they exist for now? They have no influence over the Premiership, they block efforts by their own staff (ie Trevor Brooking) to develop young talent in England, and now they hide behind FIFA directives when they have mechanisms to override them. PATHETIC. /poo Respect? Overall i think not, but what does that say about the game?
Respect and the FA!! They bring the game into disrepute as they so often say of others. They cannot change a yellow card into a red. What rubbish - its a rule, not a decree from god. They can change what they like. Not surpised by this, but still sickened.
