    I thought it was a superb display of defending. I never thought id say it but Lescott was another class tonight. His best game in an England shirt by far. I know its only a friendly but this will have hurt Spain more than they think. Other teams will be looking at this match and look how we defended against the best team in the world. We limited them to 1 maybe 2 clearcut chances.

    I highlighted Lescott more as he's not been in the side for a long long time. Johnson & Cole are more or less 1st team starters for England. All the team played really well.

    Glen Johnson will realise one day that if there's a person running past the outside of him and he's not carrying a flag, it'll probably be one of the opposition so may just be worth chasing.
