how does the song go....."always the victim...its never your fault!"... often seem to find scousers in general, and yes i know it is a pretty big generalisation but they aren't half good at playing the victim

As he stated....do Man Utd refuse to play on the anniversary of Munich?

Why can't they play, they can have the annual 2 minutes silence, but they can still play.

    Self pity city strikes again!

Not the way to go about making such an emotive point, so I vote - nob.

I agree with him. He isn't being disrespectful to those who died, far from it, and the point he makes is a good one.

Why not play on the day, mark it with a 2 minute silence, and kick off at the time that the Hillsborough game was abandoned.

Would have thought a Merseyside derby semi-final would be a fitting tribute.

That would be the best way to mark the anniversary IMO but its not the Liverpool way.

This was taken years ago and was asked for by the club in behalf of the families. It was very raw then but time has passed and as someone suggested a mersey semi would be a good tribute

Couldn't agree more MK. Then in future whenever their games fall on the anniversary date of the disaster they could hold a (two) minutes' silence accordingly, I don't think anyone would have any issue with the club remembering/honouring the victims in that way.
