Despite all the business surrounding our former captain, does anyone reckon that Davey and the team will step up to the plate and get a result tonight?

I'm not holding my breath

    I reckon 3-0 Ipswich :'(

    Thoughts??

Ipswich fans on the forum I use..

reckon they are there for the taking, with quite a few predicting a loss and wanting Magilton out.

I don't reckon that it will be a whitewash, its just that we don't score goals but we don't concede many either, i just think that given the events of the last few days, the players minds won't be on the job and of course Davey couldn't organise a prayer in a mosque so i reckon a easy win for the tractor boys tonight

Don't think you can say we're unorganised mate. 2 goals conceded in 5 games tells you as much.

The players will also have known about Howard last Saturday and they were fantastic.

So both your arguments are sh.it

A big fan of him i take it lol

I didn't think there were many of them left :D

People forget that these flukey cup runs happen occasionally it doesn't make Davey a tactical mastermind does it.

He isn't up to the job simple as, we have a decent side and a good manager would easily get them into the top half of this league.

Davey= appauling man manager, tactically inept and the media skills of a chimp!

Looking at there season so far....... I predict a draw 1-1 Adam scoring late coming off the bench!

Yes, ok our away form isn't great but Ipswich's home form has been nothing to shout about this season
    Pld4 W1 D1 L2.... not to dissimilar from ourselves!

After a very encouraging performance on Saturday who's to say we can't go there and get a draw, or maybe even nick a win!

Stranger things have happened! e.g. beating Liverpool at Anfield and Chelsea at home.... if the lads are up for it and on their game we can beat anyone! Even without BH......

For all we know SD may take a gamble tonight and partner Rigters and Lazarus up front...... doubt it but we may have some unsung hero's who come on for a cameo role, but make an immediate impact. Looks what Scannell did for Crystal Palace last season.... Adam also scored for fun pre-season! maybe he will come in and stake a claim....... lets just go into tonights game positive and full hope!

I think the Reds will sneak a win tonight. Remember Watford away last year? no-one gave us a cat in hell's chance of getting anything from that game and look what happened. It's just a hunch i have, i hope to high heaven i'm right.
