You wouldn't have said that had we won toneet..eagerley.... awaiting the draw & hoping for one of the big guns
Over the years the League cup as become devalued because the big boys don't like it> I agree with Eaststander and perhaps it is now time for the football authorities to think seriously about replacing it.
RE: No ..... but 4000 fans that paid good money did..... totally agree, twelve quid robbed out of our pockets, expected a few reserves but not the whole f8CKING TEAM
I expected the reserves but I also expected some effort and skill Ritchie says these players are pushing for starting places......god help us
RE: No - don't replace it, just scrap it. In my opinion the cups should be something like this
FA Cup = As it is now
League Cup = 72 league teams (still allows for big-ish games aginst championship sides for those in league 2 but also gives everyone a realistic chance of winning something)
LDV Cup (whatever its called now) should be scrapped as the FA Vase (i think) already covers those outside the football league.

exactly. they might be the second string but one injury and they will be playing in the first team and they simply arent good enough.
For example, Devaney only needs to take a knock on friday and that will mean McParland will be our right winger for the next game. Now I challenge any reds fan to tell me that they seriously believe that he is good enough.
