as me as to what the hell I've just watched?
I simply cannot get my head round it any more, it leaves me stone cold, baffled, bewildered, lost.
It might as well be in some Chinese dialect, so little of it do I understand, and as for the storyline, please explain.

    Ahhhh, that's what I thought.
If only it were as simple as that.
Now all I see is pretentious clap trap, arty farty gobblydegook.

Unless you are under 13 yo you shouldn't be watching it anyway, bad acting, no plot, cheap props

Recent series haven't been that great, but this one was absolutely sublime. It was well paced with every episode being a 2 parter the acting was spot on the overarching narrative was gripping and left me wanting to know more. They seemed to take heavily from Mr Gatiss and Moffat's Sherlock in terms of depth of plot and better paced story which I saw as only a good thing. They cut out the usual "comedy relief" episodes and though there were still "silly" elements (it is after all a kids show technically) they balanced them far better than they have since the Tennant years. I was only still watching it out of a grim sense of obligation but this series really grabbed me.

Haven't watched Peter Capaldi in the role - I'd be waiting for him to break into Malcolm Tucker and call one of the daleks a t**t

I'm with the feller up there - i lost interest in Tennant and didn't watch Matt Smith at all so I've relied heavily on others to give me some back-story but this series has been on series link and its been the one thing i put on when i finally get to sit down!

Peter Capaldi has been excellent and fits exactly what the Doctor should be.
