Why would they have 500 tickets on the turnstiles when they could have made it all ticket.
I wouldn't like to think I was travelling all the way down to find all the tickets gone.
I thought that with it not being made all ticket hat they would have at least a thousand or 2 seats that could be used for the masses!
Seems fecking stupid to me like

Its ******* mental..... You know what Barnsley fans are like when we could get promoted or any big games they turn out in numbers.
I can definately see us taking more than the 2.5K that we have been allocated especially with them saying you can pay on the gate.
On the flip side why would you travel down on the off chance of getting in which could lead to all the tickets not been sold.
Plain madness

RE: Its ******* mental..... Espeically with what happened last time after the match. Its also a much bigger game this time as well.A proverbial "Recipe for disaster" if there ever was one.Although to be fair as long as we win I dont care!
RE: Its ******* mental..... Its not rocket science they can just phone up and order a ticket or is that just me?
Correct Its not just you. We get the tickets we need over the phone, really not hard.
I agree with points made in this thread- keeping 500 for the gate will only cause problems- imagine if a group of lads travel down and after a few beverages find they can't get in. It could cause all sorts of trouble.
Make it a all ticket

RE: Correct There just going to kick off when they cant get in and then they will just go in the home end and it will kick off ... but i can see a load of our fans going in the home end. Its daft surely Walsall wont fill all there home end so why not section a 1/4 or half of a stand off and let our fans have that section or does that sound too much of a good idea for them to consider it?
I would think BFC want to sell tickets at oakwell because we will get a handling fee.Walsall do not want to restrict it to all ticket as 1 they make more money at the turnstyle2 do not want to limit numbers (they could probably fit in 5000 if necessary)
RE: I would think It would also put a lot of unnecessary pressure on the match ref and police, if, more turn up without tickets, late, to delay the KO, especially if there's a lot of fans outside, wanting to get in, come 2.45pm.
Allocation..... Surely they will have an 'overspill' area? When they played HUddersfield the other week i noticed that they'd put some Hudders fans in the side. I reckon they'll have a plan for placing fans without tickets in. If not, they're off their blummin heads!
RE: Allocation..... weve been allocated a 1/4 of one of the side stands, im sure if demand exceeded the allocation (likely) they could give us half the stand or whatever.
To be honest there is no excuse for not buying one in advance anyway is there? You're either or going or not, buying em tomorrow would still be enough time with 1st class post. I can understand it when its just a bog standard league game where sumbdy might have been humming and arhing about going then waking up setday morning and thinking **** it nowt else to do But this is a different kettle of fish
Capacity at Bescott 11'300 last 3 home games attendences Huddersfield - 5'554 Port Vale - 4'876 B'Muff - 4'613 Bearing in mind they were relegated after them games,i am willing to bet good money we will have more fans than them
