Does anybody know how the catering (ie the pies and stuff) contract works at Oakwell?

    Does the outside company do it free of charge and then just give a percentage of the profit to BFC or do they pay a flat fee up front and keep all the profit for themselves? If so any idea what that fee would be? Roughly?

    Pretty sure they pay a fee then all profits are theirs.
    Thats how outside contract catering usually works, but obviously I am not privvy to their contract.

    I thought that might be the case. If it was then how much would you expect that fee to be? A few thousand, hundreds of thousands or millions?

    Bet it isn't put to tender like a normal business. I work for myself and find that the competition has really opened up. What Barnsley could do with is individuals who work for themselves who are used to finding best product best price services to advise and help the club. I for one would gladly VOLUNTEER to help find companies to get involved with the services at Oakwell. Snack Bars, stewarding and general Marketing. Any thoughts!
