after the scoreline and the excellent performance, does anybody regret not paying the £36 and going yesterday.

    I think despite the result/performance, i'm still glad i didn't go !

£36 is just for the match in all fairness. at least £10 travel (cheapest option - train). Bite to eat/drink etc. i don't own a gold mine ..

Yes. Ok, I saved £36, plus travel and beer expenses and didn't have to rush to get to work and so on. And yeah, I'll go to Peterborough and spend less than half (thanks to my dads company car!) and still have enough money left over for a round of golf in the week.

However . . . games like yesterday only come round once in a blue moon. Nobody that was there will turn round in a couple of years and moan about the price. Turning over a "big club" local rival on their own patch is while we are football fans and why we support Barnsley instead of Man U. I think missing that will niggle on me for a long time to come. . . .
